About the project
The objective was to craft an app that would not only simplify the playdate-planning process but also ignite a spark of joy and excitement in every interaction. Aiming to empower parents with a user-friendly and intuitive platform that connects them with suitable playdates and activities tailored to their preferences.
Problem
Parents seeking playdates and activities for their children face challenges related to security, notification, and efficient filtering based on preferences. Currently, there is a lack of a centralized platform that offers a secure environment for connecting parents, notifies them about suitable playdates and activities, and allows them to easily filter options based on their specific preferences and requirements. As a result, parents find themselves spending excessive time and effort searching for and organizing playdates.
Solution
Happi Design
After we determine the features that will be certain and a clear user flow, then we go to visual design. At this stage the wireframe that has been created is given a color that matches the context of parents, children, fun and sweet illustrations that can support the impression of a friendly and family-friendly application.
Design Process
User Research: I conducted in-depth interviews and surveys with parents to understand their pain points, preferences, and expectations when it comes to finding playdates and activities. These insights formed the foundation for our design decisions.
Ideation and Concept Development: Collaborating with parents to discover their needs, we explored various ideas and approaches to create a seamless and delightful experience.
Wireframing and Prototyping: I translated our concepts into detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes. Through iterative testing and refinement, I ensured that the app's flow, navigation, and features aligned with user needs and expectations.
